About

I'm Dhruv, a 16-year-old student at Nashua High School South in New Hampshire. Engineering, curiosity, and a true passion for building things define me. I've been involved in robotics since I was five, and that early start shaped the way I think and work.

My main focus is aerospace engineering, specifically autonomous systems. This area combines flight, AI, and control theory. I want to create things that genuinely move us forward. For instance, I'm developing SWARM, an autonomous drone platform from scratch. I also founded The Micromouse Club at NHSS, which grew into something much bigger than I expected. I want everything I create to have significance.

I believe that the best work comes from exploring beyond your usual boundaries. Some of my most interesting ideas arose from linking things that don't seem to fit together, like physics and software, education and engineering, or ambition and patience. I think that kind of thinking sets apart work that is just technically good from work that truly matters.

I've been in competitive robotics for over ten years, starting with FIRST LEGO League in kindergarten and working up through FIRST Tech Challenge, where my team has consistently qualified for State Championship. Along the way I've taught robotics at MIT, mentored students through BAE Systems FOCUS, and was selected for the MIT Regenerative Futures Innovation Challenge, where my team was one of 23 chosen globally to build a real prototype.

Outside of building things, I enjoy music, drawing, writing, and competition in almost any form. I reflect a lot on ideas, purpose, and what it means to leave a mark on the world instead of just passing through. I'm passionate about the things I care about, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
