Fabric

In Development 2026–present

Fabric is the AI I actually want to use, built for myself, in the spirit of Jarvis or EDITH. The idea is simple: an assistant that runs in the background and just handles things, reminders, calendar, code, whatever needs doing, without me having to stop what I'm doing and switch windows to ask for it.

Most AI tools right now are chat boxes. You open one, type, wait, close it. Fabric is meant to work the opposite way: quietly present, picking up context, and acting on it before I even think to ask. That's a much harder problem than a chatbot, and that's exactly what makes it worth building.

This is early. Right now it's architecture and scope, working out what "background assistant" actually means technically before writing a line of production code. More to come as it takes shape.
